Minoxidil

Minoxidil is a topical treatment commonly used to promote hair growth and treat hair loss conditions such as androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern baldness). Originally developed as a medication for high blood pressure, it was found to have the side effect of stimulating hair growth, leading to its use in hair loss treatments.
