10 ft 360° Rotation Solar Powered LED Patio Offset Umbrella without Weight Base-Burgundy
By late afternoon the sun comes in under most umbrellas. This burgundy offset one answers with two controls: a vertical adjuster that leans the canopy down on one side, and a joint that lets it swing right round the post. The 10 foot canopy sits on eight steel ribs with solar LED beads along each, and a crank opens it.
Four o'clock sun
Low light gets under a flat canopy
An umbrella held level only shades what is right beneath it. Once the sun drops, the light comes in from the side and into the eyes of whoever faces west.
Tilt it, then turn it
The vertical adjuster on the post leans the canopy toward the sun, and the rotating joint turns the whole canopy round to face it. The shade goes back over the table instead of onto the lawn.

Over a terrace sofa
On a villa terrace the canopy hangs over a long white sofa, with the post off to one side. The deep red reads well against white walls. Nothing stands among the cushions.
Lit after dark
At night the LED beads pick out the eight ribs and light the table beneath. They charge from the panel on top of the arm and run off a manual switch.

How far it leans
The ghosted canopies show the tilt range from level to steeply leaned. Set it with the adjuster on the post. The icons on this image say windproof, but the manufacturer's own advice elsewhere is to close it in strong wind, and that is what to do.
Folded for the night
Closed, the canopy drops to a slim column beside the post. The crank winds it down in a few turns. Leave it like this whenever you are out, and it will last a good deal longer.

What you get
Solar lights on the ribs
LED beads run along each rib and charge from a small panel on top of the arm. A switch turns them on, no cord needed.
Curved offset arm
The canopy hangs from a curved arm, so the post stands beside the seating instead of through it.
Full circle rotation
A rotating joint on the post lets the canopy swing right round to follow the sun.
Vertical tilt adjuster
A separate adjuster on the post leans the canopy down on one side against low light.
Crank lift
A crank handle raises and lowers the canopy without reaching overhead.
Eight steel ribs, aluminum pole
Eight rustproof steel ribs on a powder-coated aluminum pole hold the 10 foot canopy open.

Who is this perfect for?
Solid-top tables
The canopy hangs over from the side, so a table without an umbrella hole is no problem at all. Stone, glass and teak tops stay exactly as they are, with nothing drilled.
Evening hosts
The lights along the ribs charge by day, so the table stays usable after sunset without an extension cord running across the paving or through a door left open.
Owners with a base already
It ships with a cross base but no weights, which suits someone reusing weights from an old umbrella or buying a proper cantilever base separately.

Frequently asked questions
How do the tilt and rotation work?
They are separate. The vertical adjuster on the post leans the canopy down on one side for low sun. The joint at the post lets the whole canopy rotate a full 360 degrees to face a different part of the patio.
What size and height is it?
The canopy is 10 feet across. The drawing on this burgundy listing shows 7.5 feet without saying what point that is. The fuller drawing for the blue and turquoise versions of the same frame gives 6.72 feet to the rim and 8.03 feet overall.
Is a weighted base included?
No. The cross base comes with it and the weights do not. A side post umbrella carries its canopy off centre, so it needs noticeably more ballast than a centre-pole umbrella of the same width. No base weight is published for this model.
What should I do in strong wind and over winter?
The manufacturer's own image says to close it in strong winds, so crank it shut when a front comes through. For winter, let the canopy dry right through and store it dry, since damp fabric packed away is what starts mildew.
