Buy all three and the lawn disappears. Buy one and a child spends the summer asking for the other two. Most yards do not have room for the full set, and the sand table usually ends up dumped behind the shed by August.
One frame that does all three
The table top is made of two removable panels. Take them off and there are two deep trays underneath, one for sand and one for water. Put them back on and the same frame is a picnic table with bench seats for four.
Solid fir with a water based paint, built as a classic A frame picnic table with the benches fixed to the legs. The manufacturer lists ASTM and CPSIA certification, rates both the table and the benches to 110 lb, and gives the set to children aged 3 to 7. The umbrella runs on a steel pole and adjusts over a 27 inch range, so it can shade a seated four year old or stand clear of a standing seven year old.
Two trays under the top
Each of the two lids lifts straight off, exposing a moulded grey tray beneath. One usually becomes the sandbox and the other the water tub, but they are interchangeable and both come out entirely for emptying and rinsing. Each tray measures 15 by 12.5 inches and sits 3.5 inches deep, which is enough sand for castles without being so much that it cannot be carried.

An umbrella that keeps up
A fixed umbrella is the right height for one summer. This one slides on its steel pole across a 27 inch range, which covers a child sitting on the bench and the same child two years later standing beside it. The canopy is polyester, waterproof and UV resistant, and the whole pole lifts out when the table comes indoors.
