Can the three pieces be used in different places?

Yes. Each is a finished seat with its own cushions and feet. Two can sit on the balcony and one indoors if that is what the space needs.

What holds them together?

Nothing is supplied. They hold by weight on non slip pads. Clips and straps made for wicker sectionals can be bought separately if a windy deck keeps pushing them apart.

Is the weave grey or brown?

Grey. The maker calls it mix grey PE rattan, and the photographs on this listing show it. The blue in the title is the cushion colour.

Can it be left out in the rain?

The manufacturer asks you to avoid prolonged rain exposure. Take the cushions in when a long spell is forecast, and let the frame dry rather than sealing it under a tight cover.
