Can the pieces be used apart?

Yes. Each corner sofa and the armless chair is a complete seat with its own cushions and feet, and the ottoman works as a footrest or a small side table on its own.

Is anything supplied to clip them together?

No clip or strap is listed for this set. The pieces hold by weight on L shaped aluminium alloy feet. Clips for wicker sectionals are sold separately by other brands.
