Seven and a half feet, four across

7.5 ft of height on a 4.2 ft spread and a 20 inch base. Guides ask for about a foot of clear air above the tip, so an eight and a half foot room is comfortable and an eight foot one works without a tall topper.

1010 tips under heavy flocking

The close up shows flocking laid over the needle rather than dusted across the surface, with green showing only at the base of each branch. At 1010 tips the coverage is even from the base to the tip.

Four sections instead of three

Splitting seven and a half feet into four parts keeps each piece short enough to lift and store alone. The detail circles show the hinge swinging a branch clear of the pole as the section is raised.

How it reads in a room

Flocking reflects whatever light is in the room, so a white tree behaves differently from a green one in daylight. Against brick or dark walls the contrast is the effect people buy it for.

Premium PVC under a generous layer of snow flocking.

Shorter pieces to lift, fit and store than three would be.

Laid over the needle rather than dusted on top.

Clears an eight foot ceiling with room for a topper.

The base bolt is fitted, so there is no hole to find.

20 inch metal, with non-slip foot pads under it.

Swing clear of the pole as each section is raised.

Worth using, because flocking marks.

What we stand behind

• Baubles, gifts, garlands and wreaths in the photography are not included. This tree has no lights.
• Height, spread, base size, tip count and section count come from the manufacturer's own graphics for this size.
• Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
• 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Does it come with lights?

No. This is an unlit flocked tree, so you choose the string yourself. Health Canada advises looking for a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on light strings.

Why 7.5 feet rather than 7 or 8?

It is the size that fits a standard eight foot ceiling with clearance for a topper. An eight foot tree in the same room usually leaves nothing above the tip.

Will the flocking shed?

Some comes away at the first setup. Open it out over a sheet and hold the inner branches rather than the tips. Keep water and cleaning sprays off flocked foliage.

How is it different from the other sizes?

The family runs 6, 7.5 and 9 ft with 600, 1010 and 1498 tips. The 6 ft comes in three sections. This one and the 9 ft come in four.
