1458 tips in blue and white

The close up shows the finish: blue right through the needle with a frosted white coat on the ends. At 1458 tips the density is comfortable for eight feet, and because the colour is moulded into the PVC there is nothing to shed.

Is the blue painted on or part of the material?

The colour is in the PVC itself, with a separate frosted white finish applied to the tips. There is nothing to flake off the way flocking sheds.

What ceiling height does it need?

Balsam Hill's guide asks for at least 12 inches of clearance above the tip, so a nine foot room once the base lifts it and a topper is added.

How is it different from the other sizes?

The family runs 6, 7, 8 and 9 ft. This 8 ft has 1458 tips, 420 lights and a 3.9 ft diameter on a 24 inch base. The 9 ft moves to 1938 tips, 520 lights and 4.1 ft on a 27.5 inch base.
