The seating is four separate pieces: two corner sofas and two armless sofas. Slide them into an L, a straight run along a railing, or two facing benches with the 42 in fire pit table between them. Moving them back is a two minute job.

How thick the cushions are

The panel shows a hand pressing into a seat pad. Seats are 4 in of fill, backs 7 in, and every cover unzips for washing. On the ottomans, rope buckles fasten the cushion down so putting your feet up does not push it onto the deck.

Every cover comes off with a zip and goes in the wash. Seat pads are 4 in thick and the back cushions 7 in.

How does the propane connect?

The manufacturer's setup panel shows four steps: attach the regulator to the tank, stand the tank inside the fire pit table body, add lava rock over the burner, then turn the knob and press the igniter. The tank is hidden inside the table rather than sitting beside it. No tank is listed as included, so plan on supplying your own.

Is the burner certified for Canada?

The manufacturer lists the gas fire pit as ETL and CSA approved. CSA is the Canadian mark, which is what you want to see on anything burning propane on a deck here. We repeat their certification rather than testing it ourselves.

Do the cushions have to come in every time it rains?

Not for a shower. Every cover unzips and washes, which is what matters for spills and pollen. For a wet week, outdoor cushion guidance is consistent: foam holds damp for days once it is soaked through, so stand them on edge to drain or put them in the storage box.

What happens to it over winter?

This set is built to be put away. The manufacturer's own storage sequence has the cushions going into the ottomans and the storage box, the two armless sofas sliding into the corner sofas, the glass top laid across them, the coffee table and ottomans stacked upside down on top, and one of the two waterproof covers over the lot. That leaves a 93 in by 29.5 in by 26 in block.
