Aluminium Chaise Lounge with UV Resistant Sling Seat, Turquoise
Turquoise sling stretched over a grey aluminium frame, curved along its length so the seat drops where your hips do rather than running straight.
One lounger in turquoise, no cushion.
The numbers
60.5 in to 78 in long, 25 in wide, seat 14 in off the ground. Lounger guides ask for 30 in to 36 in of clear space around a lounger so there is room to walk past the foot end.
Six positions
122 degrees to 155 degrees across the six. At its last setting the back goes completely flat, which is the position most loungers stop short of.
The curve
The frame dips through the middle rather than running dead straight, and a triangular brace under it carries the load.
The fabric
The maker calls this sling UV resistant and fast drying. No UPF number is published, so none is quoted. Aluminium does not rust, so the frame can winter outdoors under a cover. Canadian storage guides ask for the feet to be raised off concrete so meltwater is not standing against them.
