A cushion for spring, none for August
One chair, two seasons
A padded lounger is what you want in May and June. In August the same padding traps heat and sweat, and most loungers give you no choice: the cushion is stitched on or it slides off in one piece and has nowhere to go.
Strapped on, and off again
The cushion here is held by straps rather than sewn in place. Unstrap it, roll it, and the chair underneath is a plain sling that air moves through. The pillow lifts off the same way. Put both back when the weather turns, which is the maker's own suggestion.
