4 Piece Aluminum Patio Conversation Set with 5 in Cushions and Slatted Coffee Table, Gray
Two materials in this set are chosen for Canadian weather. The frames and the seat slats are aluminum, which the listing says resists rust and moisture and is lighter to move. The coffee table top is slatted PE rather than glass, so rain drains through instead of pooling.
Puddles on the patio table
A solid top holds water
A glass or solid tabletop holds every shower until someone wipes it, and the puddle leaves a ring when it dries. Wet seat panels under cushions stay damp for days.
Slats and aluminum
The coffee table top is slatted PE, which the listing says prevents pooling. The seats sit on aluminum slats the maker calls highly resistant to moisture, and the whole frame is aluminum.
Warm grey cushions on white aluminum frames with woven backs and wood look accents. A loveseat, two single sofas and a coffee table.
The table
A slatted PE top with a wood look, over a reinforced aluminum frame with adjustable feet. The slats let rain run straight through, and the top wipes clean with a cloth. At 15 in it sits a couple of inches below the 17.5 in seats, where outdoor furniture guides place a coffee table.
The chairs
Woven PE rattan across the back, aluminum slats under the seat, wood look armrests and adjustable feet. Aluminum under the cushions means nothing to rust where water collects. The listing adds that aluminum keeps the pieces lighter, which matters when you move them into the shade or against the house for winter.
Sizes and ratings
Loveseat 44.5 in, chairs 24 in, all 28 in deep and 31.5 in tall with a 17.5 in seat. Table 37.5 in by 24 in and 15 in high. Ratings 600 lb, 310 lb and 135 lb. Ships in two boxes that may arrive on different days. The four pieces can be rearranged, and the maker prints four layouts, from a straight run to chairs facing the loveseat. Grouped around the table, the four seats stay within the 6 to 8 ft seat to seat distance layout guides give for conversation.
5 in cushions
Five inches of high density foam in breathable polyester, with covers that zip off. Thick cushions hold water longer than thin ones, so bring them in dry before rain and store them indoors over winter. Let washed covers dry completely before they go back on.
