71 Inch Galvanized Raised Garden Bed
Thirty six cubic feet of soil behind wave profile galvanized steel, and if you stand it on end it becomes a log store.
Big beds are where thin steel gives up
Flat panels bow under soil
A six foot run of flat sheet has nothing to resist the push of wet soil. The sides belly outward and the corners start to pull apart.
Corrugate the panel
Every panel here is pressed into a wave, which resists compression the way corrugated iron does. Sixteen screws fasten each side.
Heavy duty galvanized steel in a dark grey finish, pressed with a deep wave down every panel. The bottom is open, the corners carry half round protective caps, and two detachable support bars brace the span. It arrives in two boxes.

The size, and the two boxes
The frame measures 71 by 43.5 by 20.5 inches. The manufacturer notes it is delivered in two cartons and the screw kit travels in the second one.
Nothing underneath
The open bottom lets water drain and lets roots reach the soil beneath. It also means the bed sits directly on whatever ground you choose.

Stand it up in winter
Set vertically it works as a log store. The manufacturer notes that in this position it should not be stacked completely full of wood.
What you get
36 cubic feet
The manufacturer gives the soil capacity of the assembled bed as 36 cu ft.
Galvanized steel
Heavy duty panels the manufacturer rates rust and corrosion resistant.
Wave shaped panels
The pressed wave resists compression and keeps the sides from deforming.
Open bottom
Water drains into the ground instead of collecting in the base.
Rounded safety caps
Half round caps cover the top edges, so gardening gloves do not catch.
Three assembly options
The two support rods mount on the long side, the short side or come off.
