Two heights, on purpose

The cabinet is a 26 in cube, so its lid is roughly level with the sofa arms. The coffee table tops out at 14.5 in, well below the 16 in seats. One is for a glass you set down without looking, the other for the things everyone leans forward to reach.

The L with the cabinet at the corner, a long run with a chair pulled out, or a four seat sofa facing a loveseat. The two tables move with whichever shape you settle on, because neither is attached to a seat.

What the seats are made of

Sponge seat pads with separate thick back cushions, in zipped covers that pull off for cleaning. Each seating unit carries a stated 360 lb capacity, and the frames underneath are metal with rattan woven over them.

Grey on grey

The most forgiving pairing in this range, because rain marks and pollen do not read against it. It is also the version that takes a strong accent cushion best, as the orange in this photograph shows, because nothing in the base colours is competing with it.

Can the coffee table go somewhere else?

Yes. Neither table is attached to a seat, so the low one can sit in front of any group and the cabinet can move to an end or against a wall.

Is the cabinet lid strong enough to sit on?

The maker publishes a 360 lb capacity for the seating units only, and nothing for the cabinet lid, so we do not claim one. Treat it as a surface.

What is under the rattan?

A steel frame, according to the listing, with hand woven PE rattan over it. No gauge or coating is published.

Where should the cushions go over winter?

Indoors and fully dry, stored off a concrete floor with air around them. Damp trapped in foam is what causes mould, more than cold does.
